Nuevas formas de lenguaje transmediales aplicadas en revistas científicas de las áreas de Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades

| dc.description.abstract | Este estudio se propuso identificar cómo un conjunto de revistas científicas de las áreas de Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades incorpora dentro de sus prácticas editoriales narrativas expandidas para ampliar el alcance, la interacción y la apropiación de sus contenidos, con el fin de diseñar un modelo replicable que fortalezca la visibilidad y apropiación del conocimiento en estos entornos editoriales. A partir de una revisión teórica y del diseño de un modelo de categorización, se aplicó un análisis cuantitativodescriptivo sobre una muestra de 2523 revistas indexadas en Redalyc y DOAJ, para observar cada portal de revista e identificar señales visibles de uso de recursos digitales. Se identificó que 33 de las 2523 incorporan en sus procesos editoriales algunos de los recursos planteados en una matriz de categorización, que, construida con base en la literatura sobre narrativas digitales y visibilidad científica, contempló variables como la inclusión de recursos multimedia, plataformas asociadas, posibilidades de interacción, entre otros criterios. Luego, se propuso un proyecto de incorporación de recursos narrativos, acordes con la naturaleza de la producción de la institución, en el portal de las revistas Universidad Pedagógica Nacional de Colombia y aplicarlo, además, en una de sus revistas científicas: Pensamiento Palabra y Obra en un prototipo web y con ejemplos prácticos para su implementación. Con los resultados obtenidos, se presenta un manual para la implementación de narrativas expansivas en las revistas científicas dirigido a editores y equipos editoriales de revistas de las áreas afines, con el propósito de señalar oportunidades y formular recomendaciones útiles, dirigidas a fortalecer la visibilidad, el acceso y la circulación de los contenidos. | |
| dc.description.abstract | This study aimed to identify how a group of scientific journals in the social sciences and humanities expanded their editorial practices to broaden the reach, interaction, and adoption of their content, with the goal of designing a replicable model that strengthens the visibility and uptake of knowledge. Drawing on a review of the literature and the subsequent design of a conceptual model, the study conducted a quantitative-descriptive analysis of 2,523 journals indexed in Redalyc and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), examining each journal portal to identify visible signs of digital resource use. Of the 2,523 journals, 33 were found to incorporate some of the resources proposed in a categorization matrix into their editorial processes. This matrix, constructed from literature on digital narratives and scientific visibility, considered variables such as the inclusion of multimedia resources, associated platforms, and opportunities for interaction, among other criteria. Drawing on this analysis, a project was developed to integrate narrative resources—aligned with the nature of the institution’s production—into the journal portal of the National Pedagogical University of Colombia, and applied to one of its scientific journals, Pensamiento Palabra y Obra (Thought, Word and Work). Based on the results, a manual for the adoption of expansive narratives in scientific journals is presented, intended for editors and editorial teams in related areas, with the aim of identifying opportunities and offering practical recommendations to strengthen the visibility, access, and circulation of content. | |
