El uso de la hipertextualidad, multimedialidad e interactividad en medios nativos digitales de la Patagonia sur : el caso de El Caletense

| dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo de investigación representa un estudio sobre el uso de tres elementos de la comunicación digital: la hipertextualidad, la multimedialidad y la interactividad, en El Caletense, un diario nativo digital de la provincia de Santa Cruz. Esto se da en un contexto donde los periódicos digitales nacidos en la web continúan marcados por la estructura del soporte de papel y no aprovechan las potencialidades que brinda internet en la construcción de la noticia. A su vez, donde la convergencia y las nuevas tecnologías posibilitaron la proliferación de tantos medios como usuarios, y lectores que participan del consumo de información interactuando activamente tanto con el medio como con otros usuarios. La recopilación de información para este proyecto se llevó a cabo a partir de una propuesta cuali-cuantitativa. En primer lugar, se realizó un análisis de contenido a través de una muestra tomada durante una semana entre el 10 y el 17 de diciembre de 2023 en el sitio web de El Caletense y sus redes sociales. Este trabajo se completó con la entrevista en profundidad al coordinador de medios del Grupo El Caletense. Entre las principales conclusiones se destaca que: el medio no maximizó el uso de las herramientas y los lenguajes de la comunicación digital porque primó la estrategia de volcado de información textual sobre la hipertextual y multimedial, utilizando en la mayoría de los casos internet como soporte y no como medio. El uso de recursos multimediales, sobre todo de vídeos de producción propia, fue destacado frente a la poca presencia de recursos hipertextuales como el uso de enlaces internos y externos. También fue escasa la oferta de espacios de expresión y comunicación con el medio u otros usuarios, más allá de la opción de compartir la publicación en redes sociales. Sin embargo, es destacable el uso de Whatsapp tanto como fuente de información y como medio de difusión. Este proyecto de investigación incluye también una maqueta de rediseño del sitio de noticias El Caletense, a partir de una serie de propuestas ancladas no tanto en la propuesta de diseño sino en la inclusión de herramientas y una propuesta de construcción de la noticia digital. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The present research work represents a study on the use of three elements of digital communication: hypertextuality, multimediality and interactivity, in El Caletense, a digital native newspaper in the province of Santa Cruz. This occurs in a context where digital newspapers born on the web continue to be marked by the structure of the paper medium and do not take advantage of the potential that the Internet offers in the construction of the news. At the same time, where convergence and new technologies enabled the proliferation of as many media as there are users, and readers who participate in the consumption of information by actively interacting with both the medium and other users. The collection of information for this project was carried out based on a qualitative-quantitative proposal. First, a content analysis was carried out through a sample taken during a week between December 10 and 17, 2023 on the El Caletense website and its social networks. This work was completed with an in-depth interview with the media coordinator of Grupo El Caletense. Among the main conclusions, it stands out that: the medium did not maximize the use of the tools and languages of digital communication because the strategy of dumping textual information prevailed over hypertextual and multimedia information, using in most cases the Internet as a support and not as a medium. The use of multimedia resources, especially self-produced videos, was highlighted compared to the limited presence of hypertextual resources such as the use of internal and external links. There was also little offer of spaces for expression and communication with the media or other users, beyond the option of sharing the publication on social networks. However, the use of WhatsApp both as a source of information and as a means of dissemination is notable. This research project also includes a redesign model of the El Caletense news site, based on a series of proposals anchored not so much in the design proposal but in the inclusion of tools and a construction proposal for the digital news. | |
