This research project aims to delve into the practices configured within the spectrum of cyberbullying, the most widespread mechanism of coercion by digital means today, from a specific approach to the ways in which it is exercised against social conglomerates more likely to suffer it, as is the case of migrant youth between 15 and 19 years old, settled in Imbabura and Carchi, provinces of Ecuador’s Sierra Norte region. A simple but precise methodological design allows detecting and characterizing in detail those representations of cyberbullying, by means of an approximation to homogeneous samples per opportunity, in correspondence with the defined study group. The application of in-depth semistructured interviews collect the testimonies of young Colombians and Venezuelans as perpetrators, direct or indirect victims of cyberbullying, specifically through the formats supported by the WhatsApp instant messaging system. In response to the problems identified and the findings made, the theoretical and practical design of a model of virtual reality and 360º video is presented, aimed at the young public in Ecuador, whose purpose will be to transfer real experiences to an immersive simulation that is just as raw and harmful as has been reported, to raise awareness that cyberbullying - in any of its forms - is not a joke.
