virtual, realidad aumentada y video 360°.
This research presents a mapping of Latin American projects that make use of immersive technologies. Firstly, the characteristics of these technologies, virtual reality, augmented reality and 360° video, were analyzed. Secondly, their use in a variety of projects of different themes was investigated, especially those that apply to the dissemination of environmental awareness. From relieving the approaches of environmental education in the educational institutions of the city of Comodoro Rivadavia, Chubut, Argentina; the environmental awareness activities of the Coastal Development Institute of the San Juan Bosco National University of Patagonia, located in the same city; the actions of the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development of the Province of Chubut and the programs of the Undersecretary of Environment of the Municipality of Comodoro Rivadavia, the implementation of immersive technologies was proposed as a tool that enhances the actions that the aforementioned social actors are already carrying out. The experiences studied in this work allowed us to identify a sequence of creative processes for immersive narrative design. As a result, guidelines are proposed that can be applied to projects whose purpose is environmental education. In other words, a guide for designers and writers of immersive projects.
