This paper analyzes the participation of fans in the collaborative construction of a fan wiki. It was developed in different stages, the first of context to delimit some concepts, such as what we understand by encyclopedia and what it means to participate. The second stage is a description of the fans, their community and their productions: the fanworks. In particular, the Sherlock Holmes fandom was the excuse to start thinking about a third stage, the analysis of our case study: the Baker Street fan wiki in Fandom. To close this work, the development of a model, Irregulares del fandom, is presented. This tries to be a space for analysis and conversation about fan communities, which provides a research tool for those who seek to recognize and identify the average user of a specific platform, as well as presenting itself as a space to discuss and converse among peers about the role of the fanatic in the fanworks.
