Resumen

El presente trabajo propone un análisis de las posibilidades que la transmediación ofrece a narraciones audiovisuales de no ficción, haciendo hincapié en los elementos generadores de inmersión del usuario y en el potencial interactivo del medio digital. Se parte de conceptos teóricos como documental multimedia interactivo, narrativas transmedia, interactividad e inmersión para guiar el análisis de cinco documentales iberoamericanos: Detrás del Paraíso (España), Antártida.uy (Uruguay), 4 ríos (Colombia), Ermitaños (México) y De barrio somos (Argentina). El objetivo del análisis es caracterizar qué recursos y procedimientos convierten un relato lineal en uno interactivo o transmedia y qué elementos son utilizados para expandir el relato, fomentar la interactividad y generar inmersión del usuario. Los resultados de la investigación son utilizados para presentar una estrategia de expansión transmedia del cortometraje A bordo (2015), con una realización parcial de la misma1 , con el objetivo de poner en juego diferentes estrategias que apunten a la participación del usuario.
The present thesis dissertation represents an analysis of the possibilities that transmedia storytelling offers to non-fiction audiovisual narratives, focusing on immersion elemments and the potential of the digital medium. Concepts such as multimedia interactive documentary, transmedia storytelling, interactivity and immersion are used to guide the analysis of five Ibero-American documentaries: Detrás del Paraíso (España), Antártida.uy (Uruguay), 4 ríos (Colombia), Ermitaños (México) y De barrio somos (Argentina). The principal aim of this thesis dissertation is to define which resources and procedures make a linear narrative turn into a transmedia or interactive one, and which elements are put together to expand the narrative, increase interactivity and generate user immersion. The results of the research are used to design and develop a transmedia strategy for the short film A bordo (2015)2, with the aim of converge strategies that aim to develop user interaction.
