Tensiones, querellas y desplazamientos en el socialismo reformista de la transición. La Ciudad Futura y las confluencias difíciles

Abstract

El artículo analiza las dificultades que tuvieron algunos núcleos intelectuales de izquierda exiliados para construir una publicación conjunta en la transición democrática argentina. Con espacios formativos y recorridos políticos diversos, en la apertura apostaron por renovar los lenguajes y prácticas de las izquierdas, al mismo tiempo que visibilizan en el proyecto de Alfonsín la posibilidad de fundar una nueva república. El camino pedregoso que recorrieron para poner en marcha una empresa común y erigir un consejo de redacción que tramite sus disputas, se explica no solo por la participación de personalidades fuertes y ya consagradas. Bastante tiempo después del proyectado, cuando la empresa común se puso en marcha, el impulso participativo y las esperanzas reparatorias que habían llevado al poder a Alfonsín se habían diluido. Los debates en torno de qué grados de cercanía debían tener con ese proyecto, primero, y las querellas en torno de sus “Leyes del Perdón”, después, llevarán a la desarticulación del primer staff editorial de la revista La Ciudad Futura.

The article analyzes the difficulties that some intellectual nuclei of left exiled had to build a joint publication in the democratic transition in Argentina. With various formative spaces and political paths, in the opening they bet on renewing the languages andpractices of the leftists, at the same time as they make visible in Alfonsín‟s project the possibility of founding a new republic. The rocky road they took to set up a joint venture and to erect a drafting council to handle their disputes is not only due to the participation of strong, already-established personalities. Long after the project, when the joint venture was launched, the participatory momentum and reparatory hopes that had brought Alfonsín to power had been diluted. The debates about what degrees of closeness they should have with that project, first, and the quarrels about their "Laws of Forgiveness", then, will lead to the disarticulation of the first editorial staff of the magazine La Ciudad Futura.
