Resumen
La ley de interrupción voluntaria del embarazo (IVE) es parte de una línea
imaginaria de búsqueda de ampliación de derechos de las mujeres en Argentina.
Esta ley fue aprobada en el Honorable Congreso Nacional en diciembre de 2020, en
el marco de la pandemia por COVID-19 y como parte de una política pública del
gobierno del presidente Alberto Fernandez. Esta ley fue parte principal de la agenda
de los movimientos feministas durante décadas y, su vigencia, el objetivo principal
de la Campaña Nacional por el Aborto Legal, Seguro y Gratuito, hasta que en el
2015 con el Ni una menos comenzó una nueva ola feminista. Los movimientos
autodenominados pro-vida accionaron en contra de la sanción de la ley. En el 2018
emergió por primera vez esta agenda en el programa de chimentos “Intrusos del
espectáculo” de la televisión tradicional argentina conducido por Jorge Rial en
América TV. La ley se rechazó en el Senado, pero dos años después, con un nuevo
tratamiento en el Congreso, siendo esta ley una política pública de salud, y luego de
un cambio de composición en la cámara, se planteó la pregunta si los y las
integrantes del Senado adelantaron su voto en Twitter.
The law of voluntary interruption of pregnancy (IVE) is part of an imaginary line of search for the expansion of women's rights in Argentina. This law was approved in the Honorable National Congress in December 2020, within the framework of the COVID-19 pandemic and as part of President Alberto Fernandez government public policy. This law was a main part of the agenda of the feminist movements for decades and, its validity, the main objective of the National Campaign for Legal, Safe and Free Abortion, until in 2015 with Ni Una Menos a new feminist wave began. The self-styled pro-life movements acted against the enactment of the law. In 2018, this agenda emerged for the first time in the gossip program “Intrusos del spectacle” on traditional Argentine television hosted by Jorge Rial on América TV. The Senate rejected it, but two years later, with a new treatment in Congress, this law being a public health policy, and after a change of composition in the chamber, the question was raised if the members of the Senate advanced their vote on Twitter.
