Abstract

Los conceptos de civilización y cultura, caros por su densidad histórica, son puestos a dialogar con un fenómeno comunicativo que no solo provoca la acción violenta de grupos musulmanes que ven caricaturizadas y ofendidas sus creencias religiosas sino también, y sobre todo, la actualización de viejos conflictos que pueden ser leídos como marcas del proyecto civilizador occidental.The concepts of civilization and culture, relevant for their historic density, are set to dialog with a communicative phenomenon, act that not only triggers the violent action of Muslim groups -as they find their religious beliefs caricaturized and therefore violated- but also, and mainly, they see the revival of old conflicts that can be interpreted as hints of the occidental project of civilization.
