Resumen
En esta investigación se exploran los valores de la Web que sustentan el fenómeno de
la convergencia y las prácticas que se producen. Las regulaciones libres, la ética
hacker, los estándares que hicieron posible una web cocreada y remixada por
programadores, diseñadores, periodistas y otros usuarios.
A través del análisis del caso WordPress, un Sistema de Administración de Contenidos
–CMS por su sigla en inglés– que refleja y sintetiza estos valores y es hasta el día de
hoy escenario de estas prácticas colaborativas, se busca conocer los usos, las
prácticas transdisciplinares y cocreativas, los espacios colaborativos y las distintas
experiencias y motivaciones de los distintos actores.
Tomando en cuenta el desarrollo de estándares web, las licencias libres y la ética
hacker que promueve prácticas que escapan a la naturalizada lógica de la ética
protestante y de los valores únicamente comerciales, se busca conocer la experiencia
de los usuarios a través de técnicas cualitativas de entrevistas en profundidad a
usuarios expertos de WordPress
This research explores the values of the Web that support the phenomenon of convergence and the practices that occur. The free regulations, the hacker ethics, the standards that made possible a website co-created and remixed by programmers, designers, journalists and other users. Through the analysis of the WordPress case, a Content Management System –CMS– that reflects and synthesizes these values and is to this day the scene of these collaborative practices, we seek to understand the uses, transdisciplinary practices and co-creative, collaborative spaces and the different experiences and motivations of the different actors. Taking into account the development of web standards, free licenses and hacker ethics that promote practices that escape the naturalized logic of Protestant ethics and solely commercial values, we seek to understand the experience of users through qualitative techniques of In-depth interviews with expert WordPress users.
