The concept of "High Communication" is an innovation in the field of communication studies. Based on phenomenological philosophy and modern theatrical studies, the term draws a direct and analogous link to the concept of "High Theater" developed by the author Aldo El Jatib. From there, it proposes to attain the "communicative state of being" to inhabit the realm of High Communication. The communicative state of being is individual and can be achieved in various ways, one of which is through the realization of High Theater. When two or more individuals coexist in a communicative state of being, it becomes possible to achieve communion, giving rise to High Communication. By integrating concepts from Theatrical Anthropology, Grotowskian studies on 'the negative way,' brief insights into shamanic societies and the role of communicators/leaders within them, as well as Charles Peirce's theory of signs as a catalyst for critical reflection on the construction of meaning and significance within a culture, this thesis asserts that High Communication is attained when we authentically connect with others from our deepest, most genuine, and original selves
