El escenario de pandemia actual reformula la
pregunta sobre las “protecciones sociales” para
las personas en este contexto. Proponemos recorrer históricamente desde el siglo XX hasta la
actualidad las distintas formas de protección social en Argentina, analizando el papel del mundo
del “trabajo” en dicho proceso. Asimismo, identificamos las políticas de transferencia de ingresos como la “Asignación Universal por Hijo”
(AUH) y el “Ingreso Familiar de Emergencia”
(IFE), las cuales se presentan como novedosas
formas de “protección social”. Por último, recuperamos ciertos interrogantes que el contexto
actual presenta y consideramos sus posibles articulaciones en el futuro inmediato.
The present pandemic scenario reformulates the question regarding Social Protection for the people affected in this matter. We suggest historically reviewing all the different ways that have been implemented in Argentina since the 20th century until today, analyzing which role the “work world” is playing in this process. Furthermore, we aim to identify income transfer policies such as “Asignacion Universal por hijo” AUH, (Universal Income per Child) and “Ingreso Familiar de Emergencia”, IFE (Emergency Familiar Income) which have been introduced as new forms of Social Protection. Finally, we bring to the table certain questions that the current context presents and their possible interactions in the immediate future.
