Abstract

EI siguiente artículo analiza el rompimiento de la hegemonía política ci Azcapotzaico en la Cuenca de México va que es el momento a partir del cual se inicia de manera clara, a nuestro entender, el desarrollo de la sociedad tenochca. Por ello en este estudio trabajamos de manera comparativa qué relatan las fuentes de las distintas tradiciones históricas en torno a la guerra entablada entre Mexico-Tenochtitlan y Azcapotzalco. Asimismo, contemplamos como una de las variables a tener presente los antecedentes de tensión y fricciones entre tenochcas y tepanecas.The following article analyzes the breaking of the political hegemony of Azcapotzalco on the river basin of Mexico as it represents the moment in which it marks the beginning, from our understanding, of the development of the tenochca society. Due to this, we work through the research from a comparative approach of what the sources from the different historical traditions say about the war between Mexico-Tenochtitlan and Azcapotzalco. At the same time, we also consider the variable of the backgrounds of tension and frictions between tenochcas and tepanecas
