This study reflects on the use of the WebDoc for the transmission of historical and cultural heritage, in order to describe the processes of remediation (Bolter and Grusin, 2000) and mediamorphosis (Fidler, 1998) through which the traditional documentary has gone through and how it intensifies its actions in digital environments and the implementation of narrative strategies from multimedia as pieces in the construction of story keys. The collection of information focuses on the way in which it is produced, what elements must be taken into account and the expanded story is configured and its relationships between genres and platforms, visions exposed by creators and academics about the use of WebDoc and transmedia narrative. for historical and heritage themes that are positioned as expanded productions where the logic of transmedia narrative - expansion of stories- and its strategies -use of digital narratives- enhance the various consumption of content on different platforms. A structure is proposed through an interactive documentary with programmed contents to recount the historical process of the expulsion of the Jesuits from the Royal Audience of Quito. The production of the contents of the webdoc remedy historical archives that are transmitted interactively, supported by the benefits of digital spaces to narrate this historical event that happened asynchronously in Latin America.
