Abstract: This work proposes an emotional journey through the careers of a series of women who, whether through acting performance or philological work, made immeasurable contributions to the survival of classical literature. Firstly, and as a sincere tribute, they start from the figure of Irene Papas, without failing to recover the lives and artistic productions of their great predecessors: Katina Paxinou and Melina Mercuri, all Greek actresses who gave modern life to the great characters of ancient classical literature. Secondly, they dedicate a necessary space to the memory of Alicia Schniebs, to revive not only the memory of the time and shared exchanges, but also to explore her individual and collective production, a fundamental contribution and labor of love to Latin literature which are unforgettable.
