El trabajo aborda el caso de la renuncia del vicepresidente
del país, Carlos Álvarez, en octubre
de 2000, como un ejemplo en el cual se produce
una clara divergencia entre las formas y estrategias
de intervención individual (con dinámicas e
incentivos perfectamente racionales) y los resultados
a los cuales esto condujo y que terminaría
implicando un alto costo colectivo. Para realizar
dicho objetivo, este trabajo se dividirá en
seis partes. Una primera en la cual se analizará
la dinámica de la formación de la Alianza y de
sus liderazgos individuales; luego se dará lugar
a explicar los condicionantes y tensiones tanto
grupales como individuales que encontraron los
miembros de la Alianza al llegar al gobierno;
en la tercera sección se abordarán las posiciones
y estrategias de los tres principales líderes
de la Alianza y cómo entre ellos estructuraron
un campo de acción cercano a la colisión; en la
cuarta parte se analizará el enfrentamiento en escalada
entre el presidente y su vice; en la sexta
se explicará bajo qué lógica de acción se produjo
la renuncia del vicepresidente. Finalmente,
este trabajo cerrará con algunas conclusiones al
respecto
The work deals with the case of the resignation of vice-president, Carlos Alvarez in October 2000, as an example in which a clear divergence between the forms and the individual intervention strategies (with dynamic and perfectly rational incentives) and the produced results to which end this led and collectively involving a high cost. To achieve this objective, this work is divided into six parts. A first one in which the dynamics of the formation of the Alliance and its individual leaders is analyzed; then it will lead to explain the constraints and tensions both group and individual who found the members of the Alliance to come to power; in the third section positions and strategies of the three top leaders of the Alliance will be addressed to explain how they structured a field of action close to the collision; in the fourth part will discuss the escalating confrontation between the president and his vice president; the sixth will be explained under what logic of action came the resignation of the vice president. Finally, this paper closes with some conclusions
