La relación argentino-estadounidense durante la administración Mauricio Macri (2015-2019) : la cooperación educativa

Abstract

En 2015, cuando Mauricio Macri llegó a la presidencia de la República Argentina, se planteó lograr una inserción “inteligente” en el mundo como uno de sus objetivos centrales. En este marco, el acercamiento a los Estados Unidos constituiría un notorio caso de intensificación del vínculo en diversas áreas. Esta tesina describe y analiza la relación bilateral entre ambos gobiernos durante la administración Macri, haciendo hincapié en los avances en materia de cooperación educativa. Se sostiene que en este periodo existió un aumento de la densidad en la relación bilateral, siendo la cooperación educativa una ejemplificación de ese proceso.In 2015, when Mauricio Macri became president of the Argentine Republic, he intended to achieve an "intelligent" insertion into the world as one of his main objectives. In this context, the approach towards the United States would constitute a notorious case of relationship intensification in different areas. This thesis describes and analyzes the bilateral link between both governments during the Macri’s administration, focusing on the achievements in educational cooperation. We state that in this period, there was a density increase of the bilateral relation, being the educational cooperation an example of this process.
