New media ecology has generated an evolution and change in audiovisual narratives, which are adopting other characteristics. This research aims to analyze the communicative role of the different film narrative resources by adding the possibilities of transmedia narratives, generating expansion and visibility of the social problems developed in Peruvian cinema, analyzing and creating a proposal for transmedia adaptation of the linear film "Days of Santiago" (2004). The theoretical approach will start in the postulates of structuralism and semiotics with respect to the interpretation of the film and the structure of the story, and then delve into research on transmedia narratives. A qualitative research, with an exploratory, descriptive and explanatory scope that has as results that the content of the message of the Peruvian feature film is a claim about post-war trauma, disregard for the heroes of the country, violence, abuse against women, dysfunctional family and inequality of opportunities between social classes; the proposal for transmedia adaptation of the chosen film, entitled “Proyecto Santiago” and the “Con M capital” model, a blog made by and for Hispanic-American women with the objective of contributing to women's empowerment.
