The research presented aims to study political subjectivities from the perspective of what the configuration of subjects represents in the exercise of the teaching function. The present and past of the teacher union action in the department of Antioquia, Colombia, is assumed as an exploratory context, taking as a reference what the Pedagogical Movement was. From the methodological perspective, a documentary analysis is adopted with a focus on critical pedagogy to achieve a descriptive perception of the object. In the application of information strategies, the review of primary data obtained in the survey and interview technique s used. It is intended to demonstrate for political science that teachers' unions determine the configuration of political subjects and subjectivities in resistance schemes against neoliberal models that make private what has been constitutionally conceived as public, as is the case of education, a right constituted as essential within the Political Constitution of Colombia
