El presente artículo se inscribe en el marco del proyecto de investigación “Educación,
memoria y dictadura en la Escuela Media. La transmisión escolar de la historia
reciente en el sur de la provincia de Santa Fe”. Concretamente, nos preguntamos por el
problema de la transmisión del pasado reciente en las escuelas medias tomando como
referente empírico los actos del Día de la Memoria por la Verdad y la Justicia. Cuando
decimos escuelas, en realidad estamos acotando la muestra y, por ende, las preguntas
a un espacio particular: el sur de la provincia de Santa Fe con epicentro en la ciudad
de Rosario. Para dar cuerpo a nuestro ejercicio abriremos dos líneas de problemas.
La primera, interroga cómo la escuela moderna y occidental tramitó el problema de la
transmisión en general. Luego, en segundo lugar, avanzaremos sobre el caso puntual
de los actos referidos, entendiéndolos como un ritual que deja en suspenso la acción
de enseñar en beneficio de la transmisión de la cultura y de la historia.
The present article is enrolled within the research project “Education, memory and dictatorship in Secondary School. The school transmission of recent history in the south of the Province of Santa Fe”. Specifically, we wonder about the problem of the transmission of recent past in secondary schools, taking the ceremonies commemorating the Memory´s Day for Truth and Justice as an empirical reference. By mentioning schools, we are actually narrowing the sample and, therefore, the questions to a particular space: the south of the Province of Santa Fe, with its epicentre in the city of Rosario. In order to give substance to our exercise, we will open two problem lines. The first one interrogates about how did modern western school deal with the problem of transmission in general. Then, in second place, we will advance on the specific case of the forenamed commemorative ceremonies, understood as a ritual that keeps in suspense the action of teaching in the interests of the transmission of culture and history.
