Resumen
This paper focuses on different subjects studied at the research project “And what about Teaching? An exploratory study on teaching at the middle school” of the Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación from the Universidad Nacional de Entre Ríos. Thus, it tries to think about different axes which derives from the testimonies collected from the interviews with different middle-school teachers of Entre Ríos. Those axes are: a) it becomes necessary to know the context of the students to teach; b) student’s interests could situate at the centre of the stage of teaching; c) students would become interested mostly in those subjects that could be useful for reaching a job and d) the relevant place of narrations in the relationships among teachers and students. In order to develop each axe, the following pages will approach the essay form, including dissimilar theoretical perspectives and suggesting different questions.
