“Vivir en la inseguridad”: relatos sobre el delito y el control

[es] En los últimos años, bajo el impulso de lógicas y políticas del
régimen neoliberal, la problemática del delito, hoy naturalizada en amplios sectores como “inseguridad”, constituye un
tema de discusión arraigado en las agendas políticas, socia-les y mediáticas. En los medios de comunicación, si bien la
criminalidad no es un tópico “nuevo”, su delimitación, tratamiento y jerarquización han variado sustancialmente conformando una agenda marcadamente política.
Partiendo de esta premisa, el presente trabajo se propone
estudiar, a par tir del estudio sincrónico de un corpus de noticias en la prensa gráfica hegemónica, los discursos sobre
la “inseguridad” y el delito. Nuestro objetivo es el de analizar
e interpretar en las representaciones sobre los sujetos y los
territorios que allí se construyen los potenciales aportes a
la instalación o desvirtuación de un debate crítico sobre la
inclusión social y la integración nacional.
