Este trabajo recorre brevemente algunos conceptos teóricos clave intentando atenerse, al mismo tiempo, a su evolución histórica dentro del pensamiento filosófico occidental. La noción de sexualidad es abordada desde la perspectiva foucaultiana, y analizada en su historicidad y su relación con el biopoder. La idea de género es analizada desde las formulaciones teóricas feministas, especialmente desde Butler y su teoría de la performatividad. Finalmente, se aborda el concepto de identidad a partir de su doble pertenencia teórica – política, para plantear la importancia de pensar las políticas
identitarias en términos de diversidad.
This paper goes briefly trought some key theoric concepts trying, at the same time, to capture their historical evolution in occidental philosophical thinking. The notion of sexuality is taken into consideration from a foucaultian point of view, to analyze its historycy as well as its relationship with biopower. The idea of gender is analyzed from a feminist theoric perspective, especially, from Butler’s performativity theory. Finally, the concept of identity is seen from its double filiation, as a theorical and political notion, to establish the importance of thinking the identitary politics in terms of diversity
