Resumen
Causas y Azares fue una revista editada por docentes e investigadores vinculados a la Carrera de Ciencias de la Comunicación de la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales de la Universidad de Buenos Aires. Circuló en los años 90 y sobre todo dirigió sus indagaciones a aportes vinculados con el campo de la Comunicación y la Cultura. En el presente artículo la tomaremos como objeto de estudio, comprendiéndola como material discursivo efectivamente producido y resultante de múltiples y complejos procesos que pueden focalizarse desde la historia del campo de Comunicación y Cultura en Argentina, más específicamente en los estudios sobre recepción. En esa línea, nos propondremos avanzar sobre las formas en que dicha revista se establece discursivamente en relación con sus tradiciones anteriores en el mencionado campo de estudios. Entendemos que esta recuperación de la tradición no solo está presente en los artículos publicados, sino en el nombre y slogan de la revista, en el diseño y fundamentalmente en las entrevistas, reseñas y traducciones de los siete números publicados.
Causas y Azares was an academic journal published by teachers and researchers linked to the Communication Sciences Department of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires. It circulated in the 90s and above all directed its investigations to contributions linked to the knowledge of Communication and Culture.In this article we will take it as an object of study, understanding it as discursive material actually produced and resulting from multiple and complex processes that can be focused on from the history of the science of Communication and Culture in Argentina, more specifically in studies on reception.In this direction, we will propose to advance the ways in which said journal is discursively established in relation to its previous traditions in the aforementioned field of studies. We understand that this recovery of tradition is not only present in the published articles, but in the name and slogan of the journal, in the design and fundamentally in the interviews, reviews and translations of the seven published issues.
