Descripción
El relato neopolicial mexicano ofrece nuevas modalidades. Esta novedad se confirma al estudiar tres novelas de Bernardo Fernández: Tiempo de alacranes(2005), Hielo negro (2011) y Cuello blanco(2013). Ofreceremos un breve contexto del relato policial en México. Propondremos enseguida que el trabajo deFernández introduce cambios estructurales significativos al modelo neopolicial gracias a la brevedad y la fragmentación, la doble trama y la intratextualidad, todas estrategias empleadas por el autor con el objetivo de a la vez respetar y transformar la tradición. Concluiremos con que Fernández refrenda los rasgos esenciales del género, pero al mismo tiempo llega al extremo de convertirlo en un simulacro baudrillardiano: la ficción se reconoce como ficción, contrariamente a la función de crítica social quese le atribuía en sus orígenes setenteros.
