Resumen

En las siguientes páginas se esboza una reflexión sobre el potencial despatriarcalizador y la cualidad crítica del pensamiento feminista a partir de las siguientes preguntas: ¿es posible entender el feminismo como una teoría crítica de la realidad social? Si esto fuera así, ¿cuáles serían los principales elementos que definen al pensamiento feminista como teoría crítica? Y, finalmente, ¿tiene el marco categorial elaborado por el pensamiento feminista poder suficiente para pensar críticamente el proyecto de la modernidad occidental que fundamenta las bases estructurantes del patriarcado moderno?
The following pages outline a reflection on the depatriarchalizing potential and critical quality of feminist thought based on the following questions: is it possible to understand feminism as a critical theory of social reality? If this were so, what would be the main elements that define feminist thought as a critical theory? Moreover, finally, does the categorical framework developed by feminist thought have enough power to critically think about the project of Western modernity that underpins the structuring bases of modern patriarchy?
