En este artículo se presentan algunas reflexiones sobre cultura y transporte a modo
de epílogo del dossier del presente volumen. Las reflexiones parten de los aportes teóricos
del llamado giro de la movilidad donde se aborda el fenómeno del transporte desde las
ciencias sociales y humanidades. Se señalan aquí algunas implicancias de la relación entre
el movimiento de personas y de cosas, las prácticas y relaciones sociales en movimiento,
la experiencia de viaje, la mediación tecnológica y sus representaciones. Especialmente, se
reflexiona sobre las fuentes y métodos para comprender la cultura de la movilidade. Asimismo,
plantea algunos desafíos para el análisis cultural.
This article shows some reflections about culture and transport as an epilogue for the special issue in the current volume. These reflections are based on new insights provided by the so-called mobility turn in which transport is tackled by the Social Sciences and Humanities. Here it is highlighted some implications about the relationship between movement of people and things, practices and relations of being in motion, the travel experience, the technological mediation and representations. Particularly, the paper reflects on the sources and methods to understand the culture of mobility. Moreover, it states some challenges for the cultural analysis.
