capitalista?
The present work urges you to think about “old problems” such as slave work, from a conceptual point of view that calls various scientists and social thinkers to dialogue in a given social and economic context. Moreover, this analysis consists in assessing the development of a reflexive and understanding approach to the working relationships issues in our current society, as well as the interactions that arise between the actors that build the working relationships (state, trade unions and markets) within the regional, national and international framework. The analysis and consideration of this research are intended to deal with the following issues, among others: How is it possible, given the Modernity promises, that slave conditions still exist? Which are the causes that allow for slave work to continue surviving in modern society? Is it only an issue that affects developing countries? Is it helpful to think about possible solutions or alternatives within the same capitalist system?
