| dc.description.abstract | En Astronomica de Manilio llaman la atención las frecuentes reflexionesmetaliterarias y la apelación a metáforas espaciales vinculadas con la labor poética y la originalidad literaria que, más allá de su origen calimaqueo, abundan en los poetas latinos anteriores. Intentaremos mostrar cómo el poeta busca superar esta imaginería ya cristalizada en la tradición latina al concretizar en el espacio estas metáforas poéticas. Nuestra hipótesis es que, al equiparar la obra con el cosmos, el itinerario recorrido en el cielo por el poema es también la superación de ese camino novedoso y no pisado en el campo literario. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract: In Manilius' Astronomica, the frequent metaliterary reflections and the invocation of spatial metaphors linked to the poet‘s work and literary originality call our attention. Those metaphors, beyond its Callimachean origin, abound in previous Latin poets. We will try to show how the poet seeks to overcome this imagery already crystallized in the Latin tradition by concretizing these poetic metaphors in space. Our hypothesis is that by equating the work with the cosmos, the itinerary traversed in the sky by the poem is also the overcoming of that new and untrodden path in the literary field. | |
