This paper, within the frame of sexuality and gender studies, systematizes the historiographic body of research on child and adolescent sexuality and sexual practices in Argentina from the 1960s to the mid-1970s. Based on our comprehensive analysis of the bibliography on the topic, we propose a typology of works. On the one hand, we will show works that deal with youth as an object of study and with sexuality as a different object. On the other hand, we will present works that do address the issue of child and adolescent sexuality as an integrated academic field, but with some methodological limitations. Finally, we will suggest new lines of research as well as new ways to approach this academic field based on our criticism of Eurocentrism present in most previous studies.
