Abstract

Este artículo presenta la vida cotidiana en los centros judíos de socia-bilidad religiosa durante los años de la última dictadura militar (1976- 1983). Especialmente, analizaremos el éxito de una corriente religio-sa llamada «conservadora» que por esos años logró la adhesión de un número importante de instituciones judías. Este trabajo referirá a la circulación de sentidos en estas organizaciones de la sociedad civil y su relación con el contexto político, particularizando el caso de la mini-serie norteamericana Holocausto que había sido censurada en Argentina.This article presents a picture of everyday life in the Jewish centers of religious sociability during the years of the last Argentine military dictatorship (1976-1983). The analysis will especially focus on a religious stream known as 'conservative' (masorti), which by those years had the support of an important number of Jewish institutions. Here we will refer to the meanings uttering among these organizations of the civil society and their relationship with the political context, taking the case of the US series Holocaust, which had been censured in Argentine
