Basándose en discusiones historiográficas recientes, este breve ensayo busca reconsiderar las condiciones de escritura de la historia del tiempo presente. Apoyándose en el caso venezolano, resalta el papel de las emociones en la aprensión de los usos políticos del pasado y especialmente en la conformación de una historia oficial.
Based on recent historiographical discussions, this brief essay seeks to reconsider the conditions of writing the history of present time. By taking the example of Venezuela, it highlights the role of emotions in the apprehension of the political uses of the past and especially in the creation of an official history.
