La comunicación digital y el consumo de contenidos multimedia a través de formatos diversos en internet y en dispositivos electrónicos nos sitúan ante diversas interrogantes: ¿cuál es la manera en que interactuamos con nuevos formatos?, ¿cómo puede la semiótica explicar los procesos comunicativos de la actualidad?, ¿cuál es el papel de los usuarios en estas nuevas formas de intercambio?, ¿cómo analizar textos digitales de naturaleza heterogénea? El propósito del artículo es plantear un modo de indagación en medios y formatos digitales mediante la noción de código semiótico y la lectura cognitiva por parte del usuario.
Digital communication and the consumption of multimedia content through various formats on the internet and on electronic devices place us before various questions: what is the way in which we interact with new formats? How can semiotics explain the communication processes of the Today? What is the role of users in these new forms of exchange? How to analyze digital texts of a heterogeneous nature? The purpose of the article is to propose a mode of inquiry in digital media and formats through the notion of semiotic code and cognitive reading by the user.
