Los procesos de colonización sobre los archipiélagos de Malvinas y Chagos han sido
sumamente diferentes, sin embargo comparten ser puntos estratégicos en el mapa geopolítico
mundial, razón por la cual el Reino Unido de Gran Bretaña mantiene su régimen colonial violando
los derechos de soberanía de Argentina y Mauricio. Bajo este supuesto, el presente artículo describe los intereses estratégicos-militares que atraviesan los conflictos de Malvinas y Chagos, prestando particular atención al rol británico-estadounidense en el Atlántico Sur y en el Índico.
The colonization processes on the Malvinas and Chagos archipelagos have been very different, but they share the fact to be strategic points in the world geopolitical map.
