En este artículo se analizan los imaginarios y visiones de futuro de Buenos Aires en clave prospectiva durante dos dictaduras militares en Argentina (1966-1983). Nos interesa dar cuenta sobre cómo la visión política y futurista de lo “moderno”, se vinculó con la idea de “construir” una ciudad en tanto sinónimo de futuro y desarrollo. En el marco de la Doctrina de la Seguridad Nacional, los aportes de la cibernética, la prospectiva y la futurología fueron de vital importancia para la planificación del desarrollo urbano y de los proyectos sobre Buenos Aires en el 2000.
This paper analyzes the imaginary and visions of the future in prospective key, during the Argentina´s military dictatorships (1966-1983). We are interested in explaining how the political and futuristic vision of the “modern” was linked to the idea of “building” a city as synonym of future and development. The National Security Doctrine as context, the contributions of cybernetics, prospective and futurology studies were important for urban development planning and projects around Buenos Aires in the year 2000.
