identidades sociales y nuevas formas asociativas
Since the ‘industrial society’, labor has become one of the structuring fundaments of society and social identity. Industrial capitalism consolidated a new labor relationship, the wage relationship. However, the year 1975 can be taken as the apotheosis of the wage labor society. The implementation of neoliberal model in Argentina has produced the crisis of the wage labor. In this context, the citizens have looked for new ways of subsistence in order to deal with this crisis. Then is when new associative ways concerning to work appear, and a particular one: the recovered companies. So we wonder: the rupture of wage labor as main vector of identity, implies a crisis of worker´s identity? Can labor remain its centrality in the structuring of identity? We’ll focus on the narrow relationship between new social identity constructions and new associative ways concerning to work. We’ll take the recovered companies as paradigmatic case and analyze a test case.
