Abstract

El análisis del interés por el cuerpo en las Ciencias Sociales -que acompaña el sentimiento de su «descubrimiento» en la cultura de los años 1960-1970- se inscribe frecuentemente en tres paradigmas: el de la sujeción, el del lenguaje y el de la identidad. Si bien los tres aportan a las Ciencias Sociales herramientas nuevas para explorar los comportamientos, apostar más a las prácticas, y evocar más concretamente las identidades, es imprescindible producir una epistemología que permita interrogar los modos de construcción de unos saberes en los que el recorte del objeto está estrechamente vinculado con la certidumbre de los actores de encontrar la verdad de sí en la experiencia del cuerpo.The analysis of the renewed intcrest in the body flourishing in the field of the Social Sciences -which accompanies the feeling of 'discoyering' appearcd in the cultural horizon of the '60 and '70- is generallv carried out in the frame of three paradigms: subjection, language and identity. Even if the three of them provide the Social Sciences new tools to explore the behayiour, focus on the practices and evoke more concretely the idcntities, it is necessary to produce an epistemologv that helps to examine the ways of building a knowledge whose object is linked with the certainty of the social actors of finding the truth of the self in the experience of the body.
