Los estudios sobre el saber especializado y su vinculación
con el saber político –dentro de los cuales se destacan los
relacionados con los economistas– han privilegiado la escala nacional del análisis. En este trabajo ponemos el foco
en la escala subnacional y analizamos las trayectorias y
la configuración del elenco de funcionarios que condujo el
Ministerio de Economía de la provincia de Buenos Aires entre 1987 y 2007. Por un lado, consideramos las principales
fuentes de su formación: los estudios universitarios en la
Universidad Nacional de La Plata, y la actividad política en
el marco del movimiento de la renovación peronista. Por
el otro, reconstruimos los atributos y condiciones que, en el ejercicio de la función pública, hicieron de este colectivo un equipo y, al mismo tiempo, marcaron sus alcances
y sus límites. A la luz de todo ello, la caracterización de
este colectivo trasciende los estereotipos habituales (políticos, técnicos y burócratas), y permite reponer la densidad
del trabajo estatal expresada en la conjunción tanto de los
saberes consagrados por medio de credenciales, como de
aquellos logrados en el ejercicio de la función pública.
In studies on specialized knowledge and its links to political knowledge, those related to economists stand out. This kind of studies have given priority to the national scale of analysis. In this paper we focus on the subnational scale and we analyzeboth the individual trajectories and the group configuration of the public officials leading the Ministry of Economy of the province of Buenos Aires between 1987 and 2007. On one hand, we consider their profiles: education at the National University of La Plata and political activity in the Peronist movement. On the other, we reconstruct the attributes and conditions that, in the exercise of the public function, made this group coalesce as a team and marked its scope and limits.
