dc.description.abstractNos preguntamos cómo se informan y cómo estudian los estudiantes de Periodismo y Comunicación de las universidades argentinas a través de dispositivos digitales. Desarrollamos el trabajo a través de Internet: soporte material para nuestra labor de investigación y, a la vez, ambiente en el que desenvuelven sus prácticas de información y de estudio las y los estudiantes en contexto de pandemia. Logramos entonces avanzar con el trabajo de campo y la sistematización de la información experimentando la convergencia. Conformamos una comunidad virtual que permitió acercarnos a nuestro objeto de estudio. Esta instancia de producción de conocimiento colectivo estrechó la distancia con los estudiantes y facilitó el diálogo casi simultáneo sobre los avances del trabajo, superando las limitaciones geográficas, climáticas y pandémicas.Diseñamos una modalidad de trabajo que denominamos ―Investigar en Red‖. Establecimos reuniones periódicas para generar acuerdos y consensos, la organización de las distintas etapas de la investigación, el diseño de las herramientas de recolección y el análisis de datos. La realización, desgrabación y codificación de las entrevistas fueron concretadas a través de Internet con dispositivos móviles; del mismo modo, se concretó la instancia cuantitativa. Nos interesa compartir la modalidad de trabajo y las principales tendencias que surgen a partir del análisis de trabajo de campo realizado en el contexto de pandemia (mayo 2020 / junio 2021).
dc.description.abstractWe wonder how students of journalism and communication of Argentine universities are informed and how they study through digital devices. We carried out this work through the Internet: material support for our research and, at the same time, the environment in which students execute their information and study practices in the context of pandemic. We were able to move forward with the fieldwork and the systematization of the information experiencing convergence. We formed a virtual community that allowed us to approach our object of study. This instance of collective knowledge production narrowed the distance with the students and facilitated an almost simultaneous dialogue on the progress of the work, overcoming geographical, climatic and pandemic limitations. We designed a working method that we called "Researching in a network". We established periodic meetings to generate agreements and consensus, the organization of the different stages of the research, the design of data collection tools and data analysis. The interviews were conducted, recorded and codified through the Internet with mobile devices; in the same way, the quantitative stage was carried out. We are interested in sharing this working method and the main trends that emerge from the analysis of fieldwork conducted in the context of a pandemic (May 2020 / June 2021).
