Descripción
La materia Construcción de la Ciudadanía se incorporó hace casi una década
a los planes de estudio de los primeros tres años de la educación secundaria
de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Este espacio curricular presenta
algunas características disruptivas respecto del régimen académico, las
relaciones con el saber y, finalmente, respecto de la modalidad de evaluación y calificación. Dichas características pueden constituirse como variaciones en
las formas de participación en la escuela secundaria.
Se parte de la premisa de que todas las formas de participación no sólo
tendrían efectos a nivel epistemológico, esto es, sobre lo que se conoce, sino
también a nivel ontológico, es decir, sobre cómo y quiénes serán las personas
y su comunidad
En este trabajo se describen las características centrales de la propuesta
curricular y el proceso de llegada de la materia a las escuelas, profundizando
en la organización de los contenidos anuales en torno a los intereses y
elecciones de los estudiantes y la propuesta de evaluación y calificación. Se
sistematiza información proveniente de los documentos curriculares oficiales
y de entrevistas a docentes de la materia y directivos, todos de escuelas secundarias
del distrito de Quilmes, Provincia de Buenos Aires.
The subject Citizenship Building was incorporated almost a decade ago to the curricula for the first three years of the secondary school education in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. This subject presents some discordant characteristicswith respect to the academic regime, the relationships established with knowledge and the evaluation and marking modality. Those features may constitute variations in the ways of participation at secondary school. This paper draws from the assumption that all the forms of participation not only could have effects at an epistemological level, that is, on what people know, but also, at an ontological level, meaning, on who will people and their communities be. This article describes the main features of the subject and the process for its arrival to schools. There is an emphasis on the organization of the yearly contents according to students´ interests and choices and the proposal for evaluation and marking. Information stemming from official curricular documents and from interviews to teachers of the subject and headteachers, all of them from secondary schools from Quilmes district, Buenos Aires province, is systematized.
