| dc.description.abstract | El libro compilado por Diego Armus, Enfermedades Argentinas. 16 historias, es una obra que adquiere una significación especial luego de la inquietante experiencia que, en 2020,representó la pandemia de COVID 19 a nivel mundial. Pero, asimismo, al centrar su interés en las “enfermedades argentinas”, aporta claves para pensar problemasactualesrespecto ala valoración de los saberes médico-científicos, las prácticas medicalizadas, las representaciones sobre las enfermedades, el cuestionamientode la vacunación como parte de la política sanitaria de los Estados y la reaparición de algunosmales considerados del pasado. Además, la discusión sobre estos temassufrelas tensiones propias del tiempo político que nos toca vivir. | |
