En el presente artículo se analizan las violencias sexistas en el ámbito público, específicamente en las instituciones de educación superMEior. Si bien dichas instituciones aparecen como agentes sociales conservadores, que abonan al clima de silenciamiento o invisibilización de las violencias de género que se producen al interior de ellas, también se han convertido en los últimos cinco años, en lugares de resistencia feminista al desarrollar novedosos Protocolos de actuación contra las violencias sexistas en más de cuarenta Universidades públicas del país.
De esta manera, para el desarrollo argumentativo de este trabajo se incorpora tanto el contexto histórico-político de análisis y las clásicas conceptualizaciones feministas, así como las normativas vinculantes y los datos estadísticos existentes sobre el fenómeno estudiado.
This article analyzes sexist violence in the public sphere, specifically in higher education institutions. Although these institutions appear as conservative social agents, who subscribe to the climate of silencing or invisibilization of the gender violence that occurs within them, they have also become in the last five years, in places of feminist resistance when developing the novelty Protocols of action against sexist violence in more than forty public universities in the country. In this way, the argumentative development of this work incorporates both the historical-political context of analysis and the classic feminist conceptualizations, as well as the binding regulations and the existing statistical data on the phenomenon studied.
