Trabajadores sociales y mercado laboral en Argentina: apuntes para problematizar el desarrollo de los actuales procesos de trabajo

En siguiente artículo analiza, tomando un caso
testigo, la tendencia actual del desarrollo de los
procesos de trabajo de los trabajadores sociales.
Se retoman aportes de diversos autores referidos
al polarizado debate en torno al trabajo (su “fin”
o “transformación”) y una breve caracterización
del mercado de trabajo en la Argentina
contemporánea. Afirmamos la condición
asalariada de los trabajadores sociales, quienes
establecen, en su amplia mayoría, relaciones
contractuales con el Estado, vendiendo a éste
su fuerza de trabajo y, a partir principalmente
de los medios ofrecidos por la institución estatal,
brinda los servicios para los cuales es contratado.
Nos preguntamos frente a este escenario (de
transformaciones en el mundo del trabajo) y a
los servicios actuales que brinda el Estado vía
políticas sociales: ¿En qué condiciones se está
vendiendo y comprando la fuerza de trabajo? ¿Qué
rasgos están asumiendo las políticas sociales
para generar dichas condiciones? ¿Qué atributos
requiere el Estado que posea el trabajador social
para el desarrollo de las mismas?
The following article analyze, taking into account a case, the actual tendency of development of social worker´s labor process. We take up different author´s references off the polarize debate around work (it´s “ending” or “transformation”) and a brief characterization of contemporary Argentinean labor market. We affirm the salaried condition of social workers who maintain, in the vast majority, contract relationships with the State, sailing to it, their labor force and, principally through the facilities offer by the states institutions, give the services that they were contracted for. In front of this scenery (of transformations in the labor world) and in front of the actual services that the State provides trough social policies, we ask: ¿In which condition it’s been sailing and buying the labor force? ¿Which features are the social policies assuming in order to generate those conditions? ¿Which attributes needs the State social workers have to develop them?
