Ricardo Sívori (1907-1984) fue un artista destacado de nuestra región que debe ser recordado y estudiado porque hasta el presente su trayectoria, su propuesta plástica, su rol como promotor de espacios culturales y su figura como maestro de generaciones de artistas locales, no han sido analizadas en profundidad. A través de estas líneas comenzamos a trazar el perfil de este talentoso creador que ha permanecido tantos años bajo un cono de sombra. Destacamos su participación en la Mutualidad Popular de Estudiantes y Artistas Plásticos (Rosario, 1934-1937), su rol fundamental en la creación de la filial de la escuela-taller en Villa Constitución y en las actividades del Ateneo. Desde mediados de los años ´40 desplegó su vocación y labor docente en la ciudad de Rosario, dictando clases en su taller y posteriormente en instituciones de educación artística superior.
Ricardo Sívori (1907-1984) was a distinguished regional artist who must be remembered and studied for his artistic carrer, his rol as a cultural promoter such as his figure as a teacher of generations of local artists. Through these lines we begin to draw the profile of this talented creator that it´s has remained so many years in a cone of shade. We emphasize his participation in the Mutualidad Popular de Estudiantes y Artistas Plásticos (Rosario, 1934-1937), his fundamental role in the creation of the subsidiary of the school - workshop in Villa Constitución and in the activities of the Ateneo. Since the middle 40´s he developed his teaching vocation in the city of Rosario, teaching in his studio and later in superior art schools.
