A partir de 1910, los sectores dominantes de la ciudad de Rosario consideraron que era fundamental consolidar sus esferas de interés. Desarrollaron entonces distintas estrategias tendientes a fortalecer el perfil cultural, intelectual y educativo ciudadano articulando el espacio público con el privado. Privilegiando su idea e imagen de cultura y civilidad en los 20s, 30s y 40s, organizaron diferentes formas de acción. Este trabajo analiza algunas de las instancias que vincularon expresiones asociativas con instituciones estatales y su impacto sobre la sociedad.
As of 1910 the dominant sectors of the city of Rosario considered that it was fundamental to consolidate their spheres of interest. Th us, they developed various strategies designed to strengthen the citizens’ cultural, intellectual and educative profi le by articulating public and private space. Privileging their idea and image of culture and civility in the 20s, 30s and 40s, they organized various forms of action. Th is work analyzes some examples of linking of associative expressions with state institutions and their impact on society.
