En el siguiente trabajo, analizaremos la estrategia de la acción externa de Quebec atendiendo a sus orígenes, fundamentos y principales objetivos. En este sentido, la Provincia se valdrá de su diplomacia cultural a partir de constituirse en referente de la identidad francófona dentro de Canadá, desplegando así una serie de estrategias en distintitos espacios internacionales, en especial aquellos que identificamos en el marco de cooperación internacional multilateral. Estos espacios, en especial UNESCO y la Organización Internacional de la Francofonía, son elegidos por Quebec para intentar dar respuesta a su necesidad de ser reconocida como “Sociedad Distinta».
In this paper, we discuss the strategy of the external action of Quebec attending to their origins, rationale and objectives. In this sense, the Province will use its cultural diplomacy since become a reference of the Francophone identity in Canada and deploying a range of strategies in distintitos international spaces, especially those identified in the framework of multilateral international cooperation.
