Esta presentación tiene
como objeto reflexionar sobre algunos
aspectos en torno a la actual discusión
sobre el lenguaje inclusivo. Desde una
perspectiva sociolingüística, ligada a la
observación y comprensión de los
fenómenos propios de la lengua en
uso, se proponen algunos argumentos
históricos, gramaticales y discursivos
que sostienen la relevancia social de la
discusión y entienden el lenguaje
inclusivo como un mecanismo que
intenta reflejar las complejas y
dinámicas representaciones relativas al
género. El recorrido, aunque breve,
pretende visibilizar la problemática que
muestra las múltiples tensiones entre
las normas lingüísticas circulantes y las
disputas en torno a la lengua.
This presentation aims to reflect on some aspects of the current discussion on gender inclusive language. The work takes a sociolinguistic point of view, that’s linked to the observation and understanding of phenomena involving the use of language, and presents arguments of historical, grammatical and discursive nature that support the social relevance of the discussion and allow to understand gender inclusive language as a mechanism that attempts to express the complex and dynamic representations related to gender. The presentation, although brief, seeks to make visible the multiple tensions between circulating linguistic norms and disputes around the language.
