Este artículo explora la movilización del estudiantado universitario santafesino durante 1968, año en el que la acción colectiva juvenil adquiere especial significatividad, a escala mundial. Se reconstruyen - sobre la base de archivos periodísticos- tres coyunturas conflictivas constituidas por el cierre del comedor universitario, la conmemoración del cincuentenario de la Reforma Universitaria y del segundo aniversario de la muerte de Santiago Pampillón. Se analizan las demandas y el repertorio de acción del estudiantado movilizado como así también las posiciones que evidencian, discursivamente - en el pasado y en el presente, a través de entrevistas orales- la construcción de un imaginario social radical.
This paper explores the university students mobilisation during 1968, a year in which the youth collective action acquired a special significance world-wide. Three conflictive junctures are reconstructed- upon the basis of journalistic files-. They are the shutdown of the university dining hall; the commemoration of the fiftieth anniversary of the University Reform; and the second anniversary of Santiago Pampillón´s death. The students movement demands and their repertoire of action are analysed, as well as their attitudes, which discursively show – in the past as in the present, through interviews- the construction of a radical social ideal.
