Se presenta el estudio detallado de un sector de la Comuna Villa El Chacay (Dpto. Río Cuarto,
Córdoba) cuyo registro arqueológico consiste en rocas de esquisto con inscripciones talladas
cupuliformes. Se considera que en la ejecución de estas obras es posible evidenciar
una correlación entre los grabados, su ambiente litológico y su entorno escenográfico, para
lo cual se hace necesario realizar un análisis que involucre todos los niveles de articulación
de los registros rupestres con el paisaje. El análisis a partir de la arqueología del paisaje,
permite considerar la integridad de los sitios, dónde se constata una asociación entre cursos
de agua, ambientes umbríos y boscosos, rocas esquistosas de diferentes gradientes con un
tipo particular de grabados, consistente en horadaciones circulares.
We present the detailed study of a section of the Commune Villa El Chacay (Dept. Río Cuarto, Córdoba) whose archaeological record consists of schist rocks with dome-shaped carved inscriptions. It is considered that in the execution of these works it is possible to show a correlation between the prints, their lithological environment and their surroundings scenery, for which it is necessary to perform an analysis involving all levels of articulation of the rock art with the landscape. The analysis based on landscape archeology, allows considering the integrity of the sites where an association between streams is found, shady and forested environments, schistose rocks of different gradients with a particular type of prints, consisting of circular borings.
