En este trabajo analizamos las imágenes de estudiantes construidas por docentes y
el modo en que las mismas atraviesan las políticas escolares de cuatro instituciones
de nivel secundario ubicadas en la periferia y en el centro de la ciudad de Rosario,
Argentina. Partimos teórica y metodológicamente de una perspectiva antropológica, con el objetivo de analizar cómo estos imaginarios confi guran signifi caciones y
prácticas que delimitan formas simbólicas de organizar la desigualdad social y los
diferentes itinerarios educativos en los que dicha desigualdad es desafi ada, producida
y reproducida.
In this article we analyze the images of students as constructed by teachers, and the way these images penetrate the school policies of four secondary institutions located on the periphery and in the center of the city of Rosario, Argentina. We start theoretically and methodologically from an anthropological perspective, with the objective of analyzing how these images configure meanings and practices that delimit symbolic forms of organizing social inequality and the various educational itineraries in which such inequality is challenged, produced, and reproduced.
